Hallo, art lovers! I'm Lusine Manucharyan, an artist and designer based in the city of Dallas, Texas, with my roots firmly planted in the rich soil of Armenia. My artistic journey began at the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia. That's where I started picking up the skills for my career, driven by a deep love for colors and the beautiful forms inspired by nature.

After welcoming my baby girl into the world, I found inspiration in an abstract idea—mixing cultural and modern concepts in letters and turning them into art. This vision led me to create the first initials of my daughter, placing them on the wall in her nursery as a symbol of our deep family connection to our culture. It was a sweet start that made me think, "Why not do the whole alphabet?".

I'm really excited to share my latest project, the "Armenian Alphabet" series, a reflection of my deep love for Armenian ornamental script and my desire to reinterpret it in a modern and abstract way. Each canvas in this collection is a stylized representation of a letter from the Armenian alphabet: "A" (Ա), "B" (Բ), "G" (Գ), "D" (Դ), and so on.

In this project, I explore the connection between sound and visualization. Each letter carries its own unique vibrancy, echoing the spirit of the Armenian language. As you move through the collection, you might sense a connection to certain letters, sparking emotions linked to your name or meaningful words. The purpose is to create something that can hold personal meaning for each person.

I invite you to explore this series, where old tradition meets modern abstraction, and where the letters of the Armenian alphabet become more than symbols—they turn into things that tell stories about us and why we're special.
